Plants perennial. Leaves 1-4-pinnately compound; leaf segments filiform to lanceolate or oval. Involucre of a few linear bracts or lacking. Rays few to nume¬rous, conferted. Involucel of a few to many linear or divided bractlets. Calyx teeth prominent to obsolete. Petals white to purplish white. Fruit oval to ovoid, oblong or sub-quadrate, glabrous; ridges prominent to winged, dorsal furrows 1-vittate, lateral 1-2-(3)-vittate; commissure 2-6-vittate. Inner seed face plane to slightly concave.
